Built in 1897 on an original townlot deeded by the German Emigration Company, The Schandua Building, made of hand-hewn native limestone, is one of the most recognizable landmark buildings on Main Street in Fredericksburg. This important property has been designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark and stands within the Fredericksburg National Historic District. The original owners operated a hardware store on the first floor, and lived upstairs. Today, 100 years later, Sharla & Jonathan Godfrey carry forward a new tradition of elegance and hospitality, with the exquisitely restored Schandua Suite Bed & Breakfast. No place in Fredericksburg brings you closer to history. The Schandua Suite is located in the very heart of this quaint German community. Outside your door lie fascinating shops, world-class dining, and historic museums. You are within walking distance of it all!

Park your car in your own private, off-street space, and enter through a magnificent private courtyard. Once upstairs, you will find yourself on your own private balcony, overlooking a roof-top cactus garden and the courtyard below.

Romantic evenings and languid mornings are the rule in our spacious suite, which is furnished with a magnificent king-sized 4-poster bed, made up in elegant shams and coverlets beneath a 12-foot ceiling with custom crown molding.

The 1340-sq.ft. two-room suite offers every imaginable amenity:

Rates:	$150.00 per night plus tax for single or double occupancy
	$300.00 per night plus tax for 3 or 4 guests

Check-out:	11:00 a.m.
Reservations:	Reservations are held for 10 business days pending receipt of your signed confirmation. Weekend stays require a 2-night minimum
Cancellations:	ANY cancellation is subject to a $10.00 processing fee via Mastercard, Visa, or Discover.
	The Schandua Suite must be given a 7-day cancellation notice (3-week notice for holiday and special events) before your confirmed arrival date. If you cancel within a seven-day period (or three-week period for holiday and special events), your entire stay will be charged.
Please Note:	No children
	No pets
	Smoking allowed only on the balcony
	No access for handicapped, as The Schandua Suite is upstairs
