New Braunfels, Texas (TX) Bed and Breakfast: The Comal Hotel (later renamed the Prince Solms Inn) was built in 1898. It was known to be the most romantic and most luxurious hotel in this area, as it is still today. We are located only a few blocks from downtown New Braunfels and many attractions. We now have on-site a spa called A great ESCAPE Bath Haus Spa located in our carriage house behind the Inn.

Amaretto Cream Sauce

1 cup sour cream
½ cup powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. amaretto
Mix all ingredients with a small whisk. Refrigerate for one hour or longer.
Serve over fresh fruit in compote. Garnish with a mint leaf.
This sauce keeps in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
