New Braunfels is located in the central part of Texas in Comal County. If you are staying in a local New Braunfels bed and breakfast, for those of you who like B\u0026B's or a New Braunfels inn you may be interested in checking out The annual Texas Film Festival in New Brunfels which is held in early June an draws many hollywood independence film stars to the area. They also hold the Wurstfest in November, which is an annual festival devoted to different types of sausage.
While in the area there are several attractions you may be interested in, like The McKenna Children's Museum, which features many exhibits and learning experiences for children. As well as The Snake Farm and Exotic Animal Park which offers entertaining demonstrations with snakes and exotic animals. There are also several great restaurants including the Granzin Bar-B-Q in New Braunfels features famous barbeque food and a friendly atmosphere, and El Topalito Mexican Restaurant which is a local favorite for authentic Mexican food.
