Muenster is located in the northeastern part of Texas in Cooke County. In Muenster Germanfest an annual celebration is held in late April with music, food, and fun. Muenster also has an annual Christmas market which is held in November and features German styled shops, antiques, and crafts. The Muenster Swimming Pool is a refreshing place to cool off on hot Texas days, and going to the Muenster Historical Society a museum which provides history about the area. Longhorn Bar-B-Q in Muenster has been satisfying hungry patrons for over 20 years with delicious barbeque foods.
