Miss Milburn's Bed & Breakfast

This historic property is located four blocks Southwest of the Plaza in downtown New Braunfels, Texas. It is 8 blocks from the waterpark, Schlitterbahn, and also 8 blocks from Wurstfest activities and Landa Park. Downtown New Braunfels offers much antiquing, nice walking and several nice restaurants. Movies and shopping are also nearby. Historic Gruene and Gruene Hall are 2-3 miles away. It is midway between Austin and San Antonio with easy access to the Hill Country and Canyon Lake. There are lots of watersports and tubing available along the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers as well as Canyon Lake.

The house is in a quiet restoration neighborhood with good landscaping and old pecan trees. The interior is well decorated and clean. Every effort is made to accommodate your comfort and convenience. Breakfasts are made to your specifications and served between 7-9 AM. Miss Milburn's is about 120 to 140 years old and contains, in the interior, some of the old wattle and dob walls. The land under the house is identified in the abstract as once belonging to the Protestant minister to the early settlers - John Meusebach - who founded Fredericksburg, Texas.
