Built in 1869 as the Meyer family home, The Old Homestead is now the Innkeepers Residence. The Stage Stop, the original building in the Meyer Complex, dates from 1857 and was a welcome haven for travelers.

The Mercantile

The Mercantile has 10 suites with a porch where you can sit and enjoy nature with a view of the courtyard or overlook the Cypress creek. Each downstairs suite features an iron bed with a pillow top mattress; the sitting area has a fireplace and TV. The bath has tub/shower, large tiled vanity, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The 5 themed suites that face the courtyard all have 2 queen beds. The remaining romantic 5 suites have a King bed, with a view of the creek and the massive Cypress trees. The limestone walls with heavy embedded timbers give this building a flavor of old Comfort for all to enjoy. Meyer B & B, in Comfort, TX, offers accommodations in the Texas Hill Country.
