Gast Haus
Gast Haus was built in 1887 when the railroad came to Comfort. The two story building constructed by the Meyer family and still boasts long porches upstairs and down, the original block and tackle used to hoist travelers. Trunks to the second floor where the rooms are located and a hand dug well. Suite 411 boasts a warm fireplace, iron king size pillow top bed, a day bed with a trundle and a private tub/shower in the bathroom. There is a large private screened in porch overlooking the creek with wicker loveseat and chairs for your comfort along with a game table and chairs. Room 412 offers an iron queen bed, floor to ceiling drapes and a small bathroom that contains a shower for bathing.
