Introduction

In a community steeped in tradition, Messina Hof Winery & Resort holds its own with a 200-year history of award winning wines. Although the winery itself was officially established when we released our first vintage in 1983, the rich wine heritage of Winemaker Paul Bonarrigo dates back six generations to Messina, Sicily. Merrill Bonarrigo's family originates from Hof, Germany. Together they have pioneered the Texas Wine Industry in creating premium wines of distinction and a landmark wine country destination.

The tradition of Messina Hof is evident in the Guest Center, where you will encounter a 19th-Century estate home, originally built as a convent. The structure now serves as a breathtaking center of family antiques and lovely gift items. The deck and lake behind the winery provide a perfect setting for a relaxing picnic with a vineyard view.

The Villa at Messina Hof offers you a night (or nights!) to remember spent in pampered luxury at one of America's Most Romantic Inns! Escape to Texas wine country! Nestled in the heart of Texas, and just minutes away from the Texas A&M campus, The Villa at Messina Hof Winery & Resort hosts 10 beautifully appointed rooms richly decorated with timeless antiques and furnishings from different romantic eras.

Included with your stay is a winery tour and tasting, evening wine and cheese reception at 5 PM in the Great Room and a delicious European-style champagne breakfast. We invite you to stroll to your heart's content around the 100-acre estate among the grape vines or sit and relax on the back patio or by the fireplace in the Great Room. All of our rooms (except the two with whirlpool baths) offer a patio or porch with two comfortable, old-fashioned rocking chairs to enjoy your view of the vineyard, pond or forest. Spa services, including massage are offered on-site in the comfort of your room. Ask about our couples massage package!

To make your stay complete, we suggest that you enjoy a fabulous meal, accompanied by one of our wonderful wines, at the unique Vintage House Restaurant! The Vintage House offers the finest dining with particular attention to fresh vineyard cuisine. Each and every dish incorporates one of our award-winning wines. The Vintage House Restaurant offers a wide variety of amazing items that change quarterly. Linger over quiet conversation amid the candlelight in our Barrel Room or looking out upon our vineyards. Room & Policies

Rates vary beginning at $150 up to $299 per night.
Special Event Weekends and Holidays may vary.
A $50, per room per night deposit is required upon making a reservation.
All reservations must be secured with a major credit card guarantee. (AMEX, MC, VISA, Discover).
A two night minimum is required on weekends, special event weekends, and holidays. (Examples of special event weekends include Messina Hof events, the Texas A & M University home football games, Graduations, and Parent's weekends.)
We need a minimum of 48 hours notice so we can order the flowers and strawberries! Some packages require a one to two week notice and are based on availabilty.
To reserve a one night stay on weekends, please call for availability of last minute openings three days prior to the date that you are requesting
Cancellations with less than a month, but more than a week's notice prior to arrival, guests will forfeit the deposit.
Cancellation less than a week, the guests is charged the full room rate.
Reservations made a year or more in advance OR Groups reserving the Whole Villa: Cancellation with less than two months, but more than two weeks notice, guest forfeits the deposit. Cancellation less than two weeks prior to arrival, the guest is charged the full room rate.
All rooms are non-smoking. Pets are not permitted.
No Children under 12.
