We run our bed and breakfast a little differently than most. We take a very casual, laid-back approach to innkeeping and activities around the house. We always want you to have a good time; to relax; to recuperate; to celebrate; and to have fun.
We are an informal inn, with few rules. This means you can come to the dining room for coffee in your fuzzy slippers; you don't have to put your lipstick on for breakfast; but if you want us to bring out the silver and fine china to impress your loved one, we will be more than happy. We are here to serve you, not to make you feel uncomfortable. Our policies are not meant to hinder, and we welcome questions, comments and strive to resolve any complaints to everyone's satisfaction.
Policies
The following are the general guidelines of the house:
No Smoking except on the balconies & porches or in the gardens. Please use the ashtrays provided - not the plants.
We are family friendly. This means children of all ages are welcome. Ask us about which rooms are best for accommodating children. Certain rooms are better for infants and smaller children to distance them from other guests who may be trying to have a weekend away from their children. Pricing may change for older children.
Ask us about pet accommodations. Small pets are welcome as long as you follow a few simple rules. Keep your pet with you or on a leash during your stay. Do not bring your pet to the breakfast table or dining room. Clean up after your pet. Keep in mind not all guests are pet lovers.
If you wonder if "That's Allowed," chances are it is, but feel free to ask, we're not going to make you feel silly for asking. A good rule of thumb is to just be considerate of others.
We offer various discounts to different groups including Government and State employees, active or retired military personnel, police, firefighters, senior citizens, religious organizations and teachers. However, we can only allow One (1) discount to be applied to the room rate. If we offer a special discount room rate, then no other discounts can be applied. Discounts are applied to full published rate only.
