Surrounded by wildlife and beauty, Marks Overlook Lodge provides a peaceful getaway overlooking the waters of Onion Creek. Located just south of Austin in Buda, Texas, our Bird, Bed and Breakfast is just minutes from the city, but miles away from city life. Enjoy a romantic weekend for two or bring the entire family and create lasting memories.
Overlook Lodge consists of four cabins with back porches overlooking Onion Creek. Each cabin has a loft bedroom perfect for kids or fun-loving adults. We are known as a Bird, Bed and Breakfast because we have created an environment that caters to the birds and wildlife. Enjoy the sites and sounds of nature as you sit on your private back porch. Your day starts with a breakfast that we will supply. Then walk down to the creek and fish, canoe, or just enjoy the scenery. If you want to head into town, you are just minutes away from Austin, San Marcos, New Braunfels and many other great Central Texas sights.
Make sure you bring your fishing pole. All four waterfront cabins have complete access to Onion Creek,
which is full of Large Mouth Bass, Sun Fish, Blue Gill, and Catfish.
You never know what you might pull out of the water!

Lofts are accessed by steep stairs & may not be accesible to everyone
These prices are for two guests. Each additional guest over 12 years of age requires an additional $10.
Ask about special rates on extended stays.
Children 12 and under are free.
Two of the cabins sleep 4, the other two sleep 6.
We allow a maximum of 2 vehicles per cabin.
We accept the following: Visa, MasterCard, Discover (no checks please)
No pets.
There is a two-night minimum stay on all cabins.
A credit card is required to reserve a cabin.
Cancellations received at least 7 days prior to your check-in date will be cancelled in full. Any cancellation, partial or full, received less than 3 days prior to check-in will be charged for the entire stay unless the cabin is re-booked. There are no refunds for early departures. If reserving multiple cabins, we require a credit card deposit equal to 50% of the stay. Cancellations received at least 21 days prior to your check-in date will be cancelled in full, less a $35 per cabin cancellation fee. Any cancellation, partial or full, received less than 21 days prior to check-in will be charged for the entire stay unless the cabin is re-booked The payment will be processed 14 days prior to check-in. There are no refunds for early departures.
Check-in: 3 - 10 pm. Please call ahead if you are unable to arrive before 10 pm. Early check-in is allowed if the room is available.
Check-out: 11 am. Charges will be added if check-out is late.
Each cabin is allowed 2 daytime visitors. Visitors must leave before 10 pm. Please notify us before your visitors arrive.
No vehicles are allowed off designated roadways.
No barbecue grills on the deck.
No burning of candles.
No illegal activity in cabins or on premises.
No loud music or parties.
Keys and remote controls should be left in the cabins. Missing items will be billed to your credit card.
Visitors must stay in their vehicles when not in designated parking areas.
Swimming and boating is at your own risk.
All fishing is catch and release.
