Las Brisas Farm

Last summer, my husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary at Las Brisas Farm. My husband could not have chosen a more romantic spot to spend such a special weekend. I was enraptured by the charm and serenity of the rolling landscape at Las Brisas. The two-bedroom cottage was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked with anything from sunscreen to popcorn and cookies. The lake setting, with its quaint paddle boat, was as peaceful as one would expect from a country postcard, and the flower garden was positively enchanting. But the best experience by far was engaging in conversation with the owners and meeting their dogs, June and July. We left Las Brisas Farm counting Eldon and Kathy as two new friends. Never before had my husband and I felt so welcome and comfortable at a bed and breakfast. Charity English, Houston, Texas

Let me say that I have stayed in several B&B's in my adult life. However, I have never had the privilege to visit one quite like Las Brisas Farm. The adjectives that would describe this beautiful place are serene, soothing, warm, and quaint. Arbor House is located away from the main house which makes it very private. However, when you meet Eldon or Kathy they are so warm and friendly you will feel right at home. It is a warm inviting home and just darling on the inside. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the outdoor fireplace at night. The breakfast that Kathy prepared was delicious. When I started looking for wedding locations, I had in my mind what I wanted but everywhere I looked, just didn't fit my dream, until I found Las Brisas Farm. We fell in love with the farm and with Eldon and Kathy who made us feel right at home. We immediately knew this was where we wanted to begin our lives together. The peace and warmth we experienced there was beyond our expectations. Deborah Bradley, Las Brisas Farm on-site coordinator and planner, removed any apprehensions we had about having a country wedding. She planned and executed our wedding to perfection and even saved us money coming in under our budget - what a surprise! As I sit here on the porch of the Arbor House dining on the most scrumptious breakfast served & baked with love, I am reminded of the loving service of Jesus. These past 2 days with you here at Las Brisas Farm has been such rejuvenation for my thirsty soul. I found peace sprinkled with reminders of God's Truth that He is still there and still in love with me. Your hospitality has been so warm & the constant breeze has been so inviting & cool. Thank you so much for doing this program for the soldiers. We had a relaxing time and it was great to get away from everything dealing with the Army and the up coming deployment for a couple of days.
