Lakeside Hideaway Cottage sits on a hill overlooking the lake and is exclusively for our guests. Lakeside Hideaway - Spicewood, Texas The innkeepers live just down the road to help you with anything you may need.

Lakeside Hideaway is 35 miles northwest of Austin in the beautiful Hill Country and sits on a peninsula formed by the meeting of the Colorado & Pedernales Rivers and Lake Travis.

  • The cottage has two bedrooms and one full bath, a dining room, a living room with TV/VCR, videos, CD/stereo player, books, games and game table, and a full sized, fully equipped kitchen.
  • Breakfast goodies are left in the cottage for you to enjoy at your leisure.
  • There is a huge front porch on the cottage with an patio set for outdoor dining and a hammock for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful views of the lake and ancient limestone cliffs.
  • On the back deck there is a private hottub from where you can watch the deer that live in the woods behind the cottage.
  • Guests can also arrange for massage services right in the cottage.
  • Guests may have the cottage all to themselves or if they would like to vacation with another couple they may do so for an additional charge.
  • Guided fishing services are available.

Fishing Excursions...

Fishing excursions are available. 4 Hour Fully Guided fishing trip includes guide, boat, gas, poles, bait & tackle. You must provide fishing license. Please call for current rate in effect.

  • Two night minimum stay required (3 nights on Holiday weekends)
  • Below Rates are per night and based on double occupancy and include breakfast daily and state room tax.
  • $159 Weekdays (Sunday-Thursday)
  • $212 Weekends (Friday & Saturday & Holidays)
  • If two couples would like to share the cottage then please add $53.00 per night to above rates.
  • Cancellation: $15.00 cancellation fee charged if you cancel once reservation is confirmed. If less than 7 day notice of cancellation is given, then the $15 fee Plus One Nights Lodging will be charged. If less than 3 day notice of cancellation is not given, then full amount of reservation will be charged. Cancellations must be made by phone--person to person, No phone messages or e-mails accepted. No shows will be charged for full amount of reservation.
Massage Services

Massage services are available at the cottage at the rate of $70.00 per 1 hour massage.
