Ethridge Farm Log Cabin Bed and Breakfast

Relax and enjoy this unique rustic log cabin from the early 1900's with all of today's modern conveniences. You will have the entire house (except the kitchen - that's mine). It includes 2 baths - one with shower and one with the clawfoot tub and an outdoor Spa (with notice), living room with giant fireplace. Sit down and enjoy a good old fashioned "family-style" meal in the dining room. You can have your very own "country dinner" cooked and served to you or why not a romantic candlelight dinner for that special occasion? Dinners available with advance notice. The Log Cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people (2 in the master bedroom - king bed and 2 on the daybeds located in the living area). The private bath features a 6 ft Claw foot style tub. Amenities include air conditioning, TV/VCR and a snack kitchen is available.

This cabin was built in the early 1900's as a double log crib-barn and is one of the oldest structures on the Farm. It has been restored and modernized to a comfortable cabin decorated with antiques. Two bedrooms - a king size bed ad 2 twin beds, 1 bath, sitting room with AC, TV/VCR and a snack kitchen. The Cabin on Blueberry Hill is very private & offers a cozy, rustic charm in the pristine beauty of the Big Thicket area. Sit on the front porch and enjoy nature.

The "Barn Hideaway" is an ideal romantic getaway for 2 or 3 guests. The Master Sitting Room/Bedroom has a large comfortable King Size bed, TV/DVD, shower bath and air conditioning. All stays include access to a large deck overlooking the surrounding woods and wildlife and a big country breakfast in the lodge. Optional outdoor spa is also available if requested in advance.

The Cabin is a private, romantic, get-away and can sleep 4. It has one bedroom with queen-sized bed and a trundle bed in the living area, TV, DVD, AC, a shower bath and an outdoor shower, snack kitchen, and a big front porch with a swing. This Cabin was built of lumber rough hewn from trees downed by Hurrican Ike in 2007. They were sawed into the boards on the Farm and built the old fasioned way. It is decorated with antiques and many unique features. Enjoy a little slice of heaven in a corner of the Big Thicket, near Kountze, Texas.

After a hike or canoe ride, it is a real treat to shower under the stars in your own private outdoor shower and enclosed sundeck attached to the Cabin. Sit on the porch swing and watch for the deer that feed near by and enjoy the woods and pond. $139 for 2, additional guest $15 each.

• The outdoor spa comes with the Log Cabin Lodge - an additional $15 is added to other accommodations - if spa is requested with advance notice.
• We require a one-night deposit in advance or VISA/MasterCard by telephone to reserve all accommodations.
• Please let us know how many will be in your party, the number of nights you would like to stay and if you would like to add the country dinner or outdoor spa.
• A 2 night stay is requested on weekends and holidays.
