At Ethridge Farm Log Cabin Bed and Breakfast, you will take a step back in time. You are welcome to stroll in the woods under the giant oak, pine and magnolia trees or just "sit a spell" by the pond or even fish. You can feel the peace and quiet of the wonderful country life. A few hours back to nature can be as refreshing as a week's vacation. Join us at our "oasis" in the deep piney woods near Kountze, Texas. The Farm is located about 23 miles north of Beaumont and 3 miles south of Kountze in the Big Thicket area. Wake up to a real country breakfast - You can pick your own fruit, in season, and it can't get any fresher than that! |

While quietly resting amidst the secluded woods of the Texas Big Thicket you are only a short distance to shopping, activities and local attractions. You'll find everything from historical and natural sites to art, shopping, dining and even an Indian Reservation. Beautiful golf courses, gorgeous bicycle trails, horseback riding, bird watching, canoeing, fishing, hunting and hiking are a few of the activities available for the outdoor enthusiast.

Wake up to birds singing and a real Texas country breakfast with your choice of: Eggs, pancakes or waffles, Bacon or Sausage & Gravy, Homemade Biscuits with Mayhaw jelly or our Special Fruit of the Season, Grits or Hash browns, Juice and Coffee. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 in the Lodge. Please make one selection for your group. |
With notice a great country dinner is available for $19 per person with your choice of Brisket, Chicken, or Pork as the entree. I will select the rest of the meal depending on what is in season. A starch, vegetable, salad and dessert - unless there is some food you cannot eat or something you really want to order (please let me know). Is this a special occasion? We will bring a lovely candlelight dinner to your accommodations for $26 per person. You are welcome to bring wine for dinner. |
