Enjoy the warm ambiance and relaxing comfort of Fredericksburg's oldest two-story limestone home which has been reborn as an Inn. Country Cottage Inn was built in 1850 and preserves the wonderful features that make the building so unusual and unique while providing luxurious comforts to the guests. Main Street is right outside the door. The two-foot thick limestone walls, hand hewn timbers and original metal hardware are a living example of our Texas past and attest to the enduring legacy left by the early German settlers. Rooms are furnished in antiques that are both lovely and comfortable. The owners have carefully and lovingly decorated with fabrics, art and antiques that are representative of our Texas heritage. Firm mattresses and feather pillows are just a part of the amenities provided. The charm of The Country Cottage Inn will make for a memorable visit to Fredericksburg. |

The excellent location of The Country Cottage Inn provides easy access to Main Street, just outside the front door. Visit the quaint shops, renowned Nimitz Museum, wonderful restaurants and historic churches of Fredericsburg. The Country Cottage Inn provides a sample of Fredericksburg's past with luxuries that will meet all of your needs for privacy and comfort. There are two rooms available at The Country Cottage Inn, both accessed by stairs up to the second floor of the typical early Texas front porch. The Cedar Room has a king-size bed, living room and private bath. The Cypress Room has a king-size bed and a private bath with a Jacuzzi Tub. Both rooms have a TV, microwave, coffee maker and small stocked refrigerator. Breakfast coupons for several local bakeries are provided. Or with advance notice you may arrange with the manager for your bakery breakfast to be provided for you in your room. Weekend, March and October rooms are $135 per night. Off peak discount rate of $125 per night for Sunday through Wednesday night. There is a two-night minimum for event and holiday weekends. No smoking is allowed indoors.
