Visitor Center hours are: M-F 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sat. 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Sun. 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will make sure that you have all the info you need to make the most of your visit! For a quick overview of the fun awaiting you, watch the 9-minute DVD presentation on Fredericksburg shown throughout the day in our Visitor Information Center theater. Fredericksburg, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, is the perfect vacation destination, with something for all ages and interests. From grandfather (or "opa" if you want to speak like a native!) to the grandkids, everyone is going to have fun! Shoppers will find over 150 boutiques, art galleries and antique emporiums, not to mention an herb farm and wildflower farm. And the men in the crowd will stay busy with the National Museum of the Pacific War to golf to wineries and a brew pub. Kids will love Enchanted Rock, the Butterfly Haus or the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm. Visitors who need to rejuvenate will find pampering at one of several day spas.
