Marvel at God's creations together. The Barasingha Cabin is great for the whole family. This cabin will accommodate up to 6 people. It features a queen size futon and 2 sets of built-in bunks. Check out our celebration package for special family events. You'll enjoy the creative cabin décor. The interior is natural tongue & groove pine; the floors are warm Southwestern terra cotta tile. The vaulted ceiling has rough hewn pine cross beams and ceiling fans. The dining area has natural pine table and chairs and will seat up to six people. This cabin has a wall-mounted VCR/screen so you can enjoy your favorite movie or select one of the family oriented films available in the Welcome Center and Gift Shop. Window treatments throughout the cabin match the bedspreads. Framed photos of park wildlife decorate the walls. The bathroom has a large shower. Linens, towels, hairdryer, and amenities are provided. The small, fully equipped kitchen has a coffee pot, oven /range, microwave, refrigerator, cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. You may prefer to cook out on the charcoal grill provided (charcoal included). The spacious front porch has a ceiling fan and comfortable chairs. Bird watching from your front porch is a must. Guests have reported spotting blue birds, scarlet tanagers, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, jays, and finches. Birding literature is available in the gift shop. There are 5 acres enclosed for you and your family. Picnicking outdoors makes mealtime a treat. Have a Frisbee toss or fly one of the kites available for sale in the gift shop. Tell stories beside the evening campfire (firewood provided).
