Introduction
We have two guest cabins located in a five-acre section of Cherokee Trace Drive-Thru Safari. In the evening, unwind on the spacious front porch. Hear the soft muffled huffs of the resident bison grazing nearby. In the quiet morning mist, watch the Sika herd leisurely making their way across the pasture just beyond your door. Stroll the grounds for a chance to meet other park residents like "Deli" Llama, Ollie, the camel or Mufasa our big eland. A stand of huge pines, just steps from the cabins, serves as a private picnic and bird watching area. After dark, reminiscence around the campfire.
The native cedar cabins capture the ambiance of the park. The décor is a creative blend of comfortable country, Native American, and animal themes. Many of our animals naturally shed their antlers every winter. We collected and used these antlers to decorate the cabins. Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen. Both cabins have an outdoor grill (we provide the charcoal). The cabins have a wall-mounted VCR/screen so you can enjoy your favorite movie or select one of the family oriented films available in the Welcome Center and Gift Shop.
A sumptuous continental breakfast will be presented by courteous Cherokee Trace staff daily. Breakfast-in-a-basket will be seasonal fruit, baked good, juice, etc. Bed and Breakfast guests have access to the park from dusk to dawn, hours before and after the general public. As our special B&B guests, you get a 20 percent discount off park admission. For everyone's safety, no after-dark park access.
