While we, at the Calvert Inn, can't guarantee your 2-year-old flower girl won't run crying into her mothers arms (your matron of honor), we will make sure everything we are entrusted with will be as smooth as white bridal satin. Our wonderful Victorian gazebo, made for weddings, reminds you of a lacy white wedding cake. Whether you prefer a small, intimate wedding or a large gala, the Calvert Inn is the perfect location. We specialize in custom weddings. A wedding where your wishes and desires are listened to and implemented into your special day. We, at the Calvert Inn, always strive to make each function compliment the situation. Imagine you and your family arriving Friday afternoon for a Saturday wedding. There will be laughter and much merry making enjoying each others' company. Your groom and his family can be arriving two blocks down the street at another fine bed & breakfast, settling in for the festivities. You will all meet at the Inn, getting to know each others' family a little better. Then it is time for the rehearsal and dinner. Finally you must separate one last time to dream of what tomorrows may bring with your new life together. Then a relaxing soak in an old tub with our custom soaps and bath tea bag. A good nights sleep on our designer linens, (if you can sleep!) and you awake to your wedding day with the smell of breakfast cooking and the sun shining. It just doesn't get any better than this! We provide you with gourmet, in-house catering, and we work to make sure you and your guests are provided with the delicious foods of your choice. Time and time again, months and years after the wedding, we are told how grand the food was, how gracious the staff was and how pleased the guests were. Whether your style is Filet Mignon, Sweet-n-sour Shrimp K-bobs, or dainty Finger Sandwiches, it will be served with a smile by our experienced staff. In our effort to provide you with a one of a kind wedding, we sit down with you and explore the endless possibilities of food styles and tastes you are comfortable with.
