• At BlissWood we understand that you love your pets, so we strive to be pet-friendly lodging, with prior arrangements and an extra charge. If considering bringing your pet, be aware that there is a "family" of domesticated dogs living on the ranch that may not get along well with your pet. As well, some ranch animals and pets just don't "mix". Please contact us first if considering bringing your pet.
• Minimum Stay: Two night minimum stay required on weekends and holidays. When a holiday falls on Thursday or Monday, a three night minimum stay is required. At times a one-night stay may be permissible for an extra charge.
• Cancellation Policy:
  • Our policy is intended to be fair to our guests, yet prevent the loss of income to our business.
  • Our location is such that we do not have a large volume of traffic past our exclusive B&B.
  • We rent our accommodations by advanced reservations only.
  • Once we reserve a guest house for you, we remove it from the market, refusing all other requests.
  • For cancellations received 14 days or more prior to arrival, deposit may be applied to stays from Sunday night through Wednesday night, and you may use that deposit within one year from date of cancellation, excluding holidays and special events.
  • For cancellations received less than 14 days prior to arrival, no refunds will be made.
  • Although we feel that seasonal Texas weather brings out varied views of beauty around the BlissWood property, we can't be held responsible for the weather being satisfactory to everyone. Keep in mind the old saying about Texas...If you don't like the weather... just wait, it'll change soon.
  • This cancellation policy does not apply for weddings and other events. A separate cancellation policy included in the wedding contract will apply.
• Payment Policy:
  • To secure your reservations, a deposit of 1/2 of the lodging is due at the time of making your reservations.
  • The balance is due 14 days prior to arrival, at which time your credit card will automatically be charged for the balance.
  • If reservation is made less than 14 days prior to arrival, full payment is due at the time of making the reservation.
  • Prices exclusive of 6% Texas State Room Tax.
  • Please note: This payment policy does not apply to weddings. There is a separate policy and contract for weddings, and usually has to be paid for much further in advance than two weeks. Please contact us early during your wedding planning stages for information and reservations.
