Enjoy the simple life in the calming surroundings, where animals abound on the ranch, including horses, Angus cattle, llamas, camels, miniature donkeys, peacocks, and even American Bison. Relax with catch and release bass fishing in our stocked lakes. Catch a glimpse of grazing deer.

Horseback Riding at BlissWood For those who enjoy riding, we'll saddle up a quarter horse or a gaited Paso Fino from South America so you can leisurely ride across the meadows, through oak forests, across creeks, and past soothing ponds. Bring your mountain bike. Relax. If you like, we can make arrangements for a massage (for a fee).

Get lost, and find yourself in the large seven-circuit labyrinth in the Mystical Forest. Ponder at the pond while watching swans, ducks & geese glide by. Re-kindle a romance. Have an old-fashioned picnic at the gazebo overlooking the Enchanted Lake.

Sip refreshments on your guest house porch and watch the sun set. Then savor your own home-cooked meal or take a short journey to Carol's at Cat Spring Restaurant. Take a midnight stroll through the meadows and moonbeams. Gaze at the stars. Do nothing. Do it all.

The area is rich in Texas historical attractions including the Stephen F. Austin and Washington-on-the-Brazos State Parks. Explore cultural attractions and many antique shops in the nearby communities of Bellville, Sealy, Columbus, New Ulm, Eagle Lake, Richmond, Rosenberg, Round Top, Warrenton, Shelby, Brenham, Chappell Hill, and Winedale.
