H I S T O R Y |
In 1846, the German Immigration Department deeded a parcel of land in the Texas Hill Country, just outside of Fredericksburg, to Jacob Weinheimer. Several years later, in the 1860s, he built a solid rock homestead and stable on the bank of Baron's Creek. In 1992, William and Patricia Collins discovered the long abandoned dwellings and restored them into a welcoming bed and breakfast. Four guest rooms now accompany the Collins' home on this ranch. |
