Tip #87 - Don't be a Drowsy Driver
Who hasn't been in this position--it's only a few more minutes to your destination and yeah, you've been on the road for many hours, you're dead tired but you're almost there. Resist the temptation to power through with a caffeine-laden drink or by blasting the radio. According to the Federal government, at least 100,000 accidents are caused by drowsy drivers. Prepare for your trip by being well-rested and don't try to do more than you can handle: change drivers frequently (if possible), stop often and be realistic in your driving plans.
