Tip #86 - Have a Plan For If You Get Separated
When traveling with a large group (or more than one child), it's always good to establish where you will meet up if you get separated in advance. Pick places that are well-lit and in a public area. Discuss with your children what the upcoming trip will consist of so there are no surprises: if it's a train ride, a trip in the car, a plane ride, etc. and the possibilities of getting separated. You're doing this not to scare them but to inform them and get them ready for the adventure. Make sure everyone is on the same page and knows where to go and what to do--this will eliminate any stress on anyone if you do actually get lost from one another.
