Tip #64 - Taking Photos and Video During Your Trip--Know Before You Snap
Most likely, your family trip will involve some picture-taking or even some videotaping. Keep the following tips in mind for a successful photo: If you're ever asked to stop filming or taking pictures by an official (of, say, a government building or demonstration), don't argue. Better to just stop than risk confiscation of your film or your camera--or both. If you're traveling by plane, it's a smart idea to ask that your film be hand-inspected, in order to avoid X-ray exposure. Also, be sure to bring extra film, batteries, videotape or whatever accessories you may need so you don't have to go shopping on the road.
