Tip #63 - Planes, Trains and Automobiles

While flying is typically the top choice in transportation,  consider something different. Try transportation that's a little more off the beaten path. Traveling by train and bus can be not only an economical mode of transportation, but also a fun way to see unique sights. You can also meet some nice people along the way. Train stations are often built in rural and unused parts of the landscape, allowing travelers to get an unusual glimpse into the area's terrain. Bus travel can give you an opportunity to get to know some of your traveling companions, since you all will be together for many hours. Bonus: trains and buses still need to stop every few hours, giving passengers the possibility to see an area they may have missed otherwise. And what about a dining car? How fun is that?
