The magnificent, rugged Cumberland Plateau is a haven for hikers, horse back riders, white water rafters, wild flower enthusiasts, photographers, rock climbers and generally anyone who loves nature and the big outdoors. Wildwood Lodge is surrounded by Big South Fork National Park and Pickett State Park, close to Dale Hollow Lake and Jamestown. A beautiful rural area, typical of East Tennessee - probably more horses than people!

Wildwood Lodge Bed & Breakfast, Stables and Cabins - Jamestown, Tennessee English owned and operated, Wildwood's 10 bedrooms, with private bathrooms are individually decorated with southern yellow pine wainscoting, Julia's natural art pieces and hand stitched quilts. Or try one of our 4 cabins, sleeping 2 to 10. We can also house your mounts in the 26 new, all wood, 12'*10'horse stables. Huge, country, cooked breakfasts as well as lively conversations get you off to a good start each day. In winter, curl up in front of the large fire-place in the cozy sitting room with a book from the library: loads of books on the area and its wild life and flora, other reference books, magazines and novels.

Three course suppers are served when the local restaurant is closed. Reservations are essential at least 7 days in advance. Julia, the gardener, has created winding, shaded, wild flower trails over 27 acres of woodland. There is a profusion of flowers in hanging baskets and planters at the Lodge and on the three decks where you can relax in the hammocks or the hot tub. Comfort, privacy, excellent food and good company are all you could wish for after exploring the great outdoors.
