Each room has a private bath with jacuzzi and you will delight in the mountain view off the porch.
The loft and living room areas are common areas for folks to catch a game of bumper pool, exchange horse stories or just cozy up with a good book.
After the full country breakfast served every morning you will be ready to explore the many trails in our National Park only 12 miles away! We will pack you a bag lunch to enjoy on your ride, perhaps by a mountain stream and will also help you with planning your trails and maps if needed.
After a day in the saddle your equine friends will enjoy a roomy paddock with shelter from the sun or weather, while you soak in the jacuzzi or take a dip in the spring fed pond.

Bring your family and discover the adventures of mountain life together. Our ranch will delight young and older with some old fashioned country fun.
Enjoy taking the llama on his daily walk, feeding the chickens, bunnies, laughing at the antics of 2 fainting goats, playing with Ruby our official greeting dog and of course the company of our equine friends.
Our half acre pond is stocked ( bring your fishing gear) and is spring fed so is great for swimming! The pond area is complete with pavillion with tables,grill/fire ring perfect for cookouts. Also, we have many trails for hiking and great porches for rocking too.
Horseback riding is a great way to enjoy and learn about the Smoky Mountains. Horse tours come with guide, instruction, break complete with snack and drink and a personally matched ranch horse for you. We have horses more fun for the experienced rider and others more suited to the novice, all trained to delight you with the joys of mountain riding. We do faster riding with those who want to try or who are more experienced.
Plus, if you are welcome to participate in the daily care and handling of the horses.
Your family will enjoy lodging in a private cabin or unit complete with kitchen, private entrances with decks and tv/vcr/dish and unique decoration.

Horse Lovers Getaway Plan
Horse lovers will love the western/rustic decor of our ranch as well as the privacy and uniqueness of our private Log cabin ( Lukes cabin) or one of our private units (Cowboy Hideout or Pioneer room).
Two half day rides for 2 people are included in this getaway. We will supply mountain trained horses, snacks and a drink for break time, instruction,tack and guide. Horses and type of ride are geared to your personal interest and riding experience (if any).Sorry weight limit of 225lbs. We do faster riding with those who are more expereinced or want to try. To complete the experience you will be invited to share in the care and grooming of the horses before and after each ride. A prelesson is provided giving basic riding, handling and mountain riding tips.
After the rides you will enjoy relaxing in the rocker, enjoying all the nearby sights or even taking the llama for a walk!
Also, we have a half acre pond for swimming/fishing with a picnic area for those who want to cookout or sit around a campfire. Enjoy the "critters" on this horse ranch as well! LLama, mini-potbelly pigs, kitties, chickens, fainting goats, donkey ect..

Spring Flowers by Horseback!
Why hike up and down mountains when you can ride a horse! Our rides are fun mountain horse rides and a great way to see and enjoy the beautiful smoky mountain wildflowers! Your guide will not only give you tips and information on the wildflowers and but will assist you on mountain riding tecniques as well.
Horses are chosen for your individual riding experience and weight(sorry weight limit of 225lbs). We offer half day rides which include a short break with snacks and a drink OR day rides which include 2 breaks with lunch, snacks and drink.
Half day and Day rides can be added to any Bed and Breakfast or cabin reservations for only $60.00/person or $95.00/person plus taxes. Reservations should be made ahead of time or at the time of lodging booking.
Get out and enjoy the beauty of nature with the unique company of a well trained mountain horse.
Winter Riding Getaway
This special is great for those who want to get in a quick escape to the mountains and get in a little horse therepy as well. East Tn. is perfect for riding all year around with temperatures a bit unpredictable but never too cold to enjoy a good horse under you.
Rate is for 2 nights/2 people in a private cabin or unit and 1 half day horse ride on ranch horses(sorry wight limit of 225 pounds).
Includes horse handling time and instruction if needed.
