Vacation With Your Own Horse
Ride the trails of Great Smoky National Park, just 12 miles away. Your horse will enjoy a 30 foot paddock with shelter and running water. A wash rack is available, along with a large outdoor arena.
Ride exciting wooded trails with spectacular views and mountain adventure. Intimate groups are fun for all experience levels. Horses are chosen to accommodate all riders, beginner through advanced. Guests are invited to participate in the handling of horses before and after the ride.
Instruction in horseback riding as well as basic horsemanship is
available.
The proprietor has an AAS in horse husbandry and has gained years of
first hand experience on ranches in the rugged Rocky Mountains before
settling in the beautiful Smoky Mountains.
Horse Boarding

All horses are required to have a current negative coggins
test (EIA).
Stall, paddocks, or corral - $15 per Horse/Per Night We will be glad to offer assistance in planning trips to the
Smoky Mountain National Park a short distance away.
Horseback Riding and Instruction
All trail rides include guide + leave directly from the barn.
Short Ride (1 1/2 - 2 Hrs.): your horse - $20, ranch horse - $40
1/2 Day Ride (includes snacks and drink): your horse - $30, ranch horse - $60
Day Ride (includes snack and lunch break): your horse - $55, ranch horse - $95
Lesson "Hands On" (3 Hours) - $65 Includes Instruction in Safety, Handling, Grooming and Saddling the Horse.
Ring Lesson Covering Basic Control, Position of Rider and Mountain Riding Techniques. Unsaddling and Care for Your Horse.
Lessons are tailored to meet individual needs according to age, interest and experience level.
For a safe and comfortable ride we suggest riders bring raingear, water bottle or canteen and wear long pants and sturdy shoes/boots with a LOW heel (No sandals allowed). Safety helmets are recommended and available for use.
At time of reservations we will need to know each rider's weight. (Sorry, 230 lb. limit).
What riding experience experience, if any, to reserve a suitable horse.
Every effort is made to ensure you and your horse's safety, however,
we cannot assume any liability for personal injuries, livestock
injuries, or damage to your equipment. Because of this we ask that
upon checking in with us you sign a waiver of release. This waiver
must be signed prior to any riding at Twin Valley Ranch.
Check-in time 2 - 5 p.m. Check out by 11:00 a.m.

Gratuities for volunteer or senior trail guides are not included and are very much appreciated!
Remember to bring your souvenir money ( cash only) for our
trading post on site, which offers Twin Valley t- shirts, hats, frames, postcards and magnets featuring our horses/animals, trails, cabins and views.
All Rates Plus Tax / 50% Deposit Required on Accommodations and Riding. Visa/MasterCard accepted for deposits only.
Balance is due on arrival by Cash, Money Order or Traveler's Checks.
No credit cards accepted at check-in time.
Two Week Notice required for guaranteed refund of half deposit unless rebooked.
$15 processing fee on cancellations and changes. No personal checks.
