Introduction
"Featured in October, 2007, *Southern Living* magazine"
Ridgetop Bed & Breakfast is set in 170 acres of wooded Tennessee hills, only four miles from the Natchez Trace, a National Parkway running from Nashville to Natchez, Mississippi. The location between Columbia and Hohenwald on Highway 412 and less than an hour and a half south of Nashville, makes Ridgetop an ideal stopover for Trace travelers as well as those wishing to enjoy the area's natural beauty.
Guests frequently come in to breakfast commenting on the deer or turkey that they saw the evening before, and how quiet things are! Up here on the ridge top, you'll experience the peace and quiet that only the country can provide and yet you will be only fifteen minutes away from Hohenwald, with several excellent restaurants and thirty minutes from Columbia. If you tire of just relaxing, there are hiking trails on the property you can easily walk for several miles. You might enjoy an easy stroll on top of the ridge, or the more ambitious may go down to a clear rock-bottom creek - with a waterfall! Your hosts are especially familiar with the wildflowers of the area, being active members of the Tennessee Native Plant Society.
