At first glance, the atmosphere in the main living room is rustic (mortar-chinked barnwood walls, 13-foot high open-beamed ceilings, broad planked wood and slate floors), but the formal white mantled fireplace, antique furniture, original sculpture and art quickly dispel any sense of "roughing it".
A full breakfast and evening candlelight dessert are served in the panoramic dining area where you can watch the morning mist rising from the valley floor and the moon-filled mountain nights. Freshly brewed morning coffee and afternoon tea can be enjoyed in the privacy of your balcony or room. Gourmet packed picnics that match the season are available for a back-packing hike or a luxurious spread by a mountain stream.
Our air conditioned guest rooms have private baths, fireplaces, private spa tubs for two, king beds, and balconies with majestic views. Room amenities also include piped in music, hair dryers, coffee makers, and lounging robes, provided in a smoke-free environment. Special attention has been given to comfortable bedding.
