Introduction
Welcome to Mammy & Pappy's Bed and Breakfast
Come to the Country and enjoy the quiet charm and elegance of the 100 year old farm home. The house was built around 1900 and has had many changes over the years. The home and surrounding property have been in the Clendenin family for over 100 years. In 1950, it was selected, after quite a long search by the Board of Public Utilities, to be a show place of how modern electrical installations could be used in a farm home.
Over the years many family gatherings have taken place here and we pledge to show family hospitality to our guests. Our guests will be treated to a full country breakfast, including homemade biscuits.
Bedroom 1
The house has four large bedrooms, each with a private bath. Common areas of the house include a large country kitchen, a formal family dining room, and the family living room.
Enjoy a relaxing dip in the owner's private pool. You might even get to ride Jack Donkey, JD for short, if you're lucky. But hang on. Sometimes he prefers to not have people on his back! At the very least he always carries on an interesting conversation.
For Guests of the B & B we offer for an additional charge:
Fishing in our private stocked ponds.
Hunting of deer and turkey (when in season) on our private property.
Please call or email for more information on these additional services.
Come and enjoy the peace and tranquility here at Mammy & Pappy's. We hope you will.
