The Area

Dayton, Tennessee, was the site of the 1925 Scopes Evolution Trial, known as "the trial of the century." Each July the Scopes Trial is reenacted in the exact courtroom of the Rhea County Courthouse where the famous trial was held. Dayton is also the home of Bryan College.
