About Your Hosts

Your Innkeepers are Virginia and Mike Tipps.

Mike was born and raised in the Lynchburg area, and graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 1973. After working for the University of Tennessee for two years, Mike returned to Lynchburg to work for Jack Daniel. He is currently the Quality Control Specialist for the production facility.

Virginia was employed at the Distillery also, but left in 1985 to open the Bed and Breakfast to welcome visitors from all parts of the world. "We have had guests from all 50 states and more than 30 different countries." Virginia and Mike should be able to answer any questions about the area or its attractions.
