Winter Scrapbooking Retreat (03/13/2009 thru 12/15/2009)
SCRAP BOOKING GETAWAYS

Now is the perfect time to gather a group of fellow scrap bookers and spend a "working" 2 or 3 days at the Iron Mountain Inn B&B in Butler, "the quiet corner" of Northeastern Tennessee.

Your visit starts the first night with dinner: hot stew in winter or refreshing stir fry in warmer weather, salad, bread, dessert, coffee and tea. Breakfast each morning is continental style (just come down in the robes we provide). The second night we suggest one of our excellent local restaurants. You'll want a break.

We'll provide you plenty of tables to work on, a wood burning fireplace to make it all very cozy, our famous Iron Mountain Inn chocolate chip cookies to keep your energy level up, and 4 bedrooms with whirlpool tiled baths, luxurious beds, balconies and robes so you need never get dressed during your stay.

The nearby Creekside Chalet has an additional 3 bedrooms and a hot tub under the stars if your crowd takes over the Inn. All the "scrapping" would be done at the Inn, but the Chalet provides additional accommodations.

Our rate is $160.00 per person plus tax. We prefer a minimum of 6 "scrappers". It is suggested that reservations be made as soon as possible so the Inn and Chalet are available. Just call 888-781-2399 and Vikki would be delighted to share the magic of the mountains with you.

Elopement/Wedding Package (10/23/2009 thru 10/22/2010)
At the Iron Mountain Inn, we offer an elopement package when you are ready to tie the knot. Your special ceremony for the two of you without the expense of a big wedding. Because this is your special day, feel free to choose your ceremony, choose the time of day,the location on the grounds, or cruising on Watauga Lake - perhaps even exchange rings under a full moon or at sunrise!

From the time you arrive atop the mountain, you will be surrounded by love, making the Inn the perfect place to elope. You will slow down and experience the magic of the mountains. You know this will be a very special moment in your lives.

When it's time for the bride to get ready, the Innkeeper is available to help if needed. Bring your own music, or let us choose a special song to be played as the bride descends the staircase and walks to the chosen location. Here the groom is waiting. Walking to his side, you repeat the words you have chosen, you exchange rings, and you are pronounced husband and wife.

"Pop the bubbly" and toast each other with the crystal flute you keep, feed each other a piece of wedding cake...or how about a "wedding cookie". No hassles. No jitters. "No Big Deal". Just a very special day in your lives.

Buy the appropriate supplemental license if you wish to hunt deer, bear, boar, turkey or waterfowl. Hunting waterfowl also requires a federal duck stamp and you will also need a migratory bird permit to hunt migratory birds.
