Elopement Special (1/11/2008 thru 12/31/2008)
At the Iron Mountain Inn, we offer an elopement package when you are ready to tie the knot. Your special ceremony for the two of you without the expense of a big wedding. Because this is your special day, feel free to choose your ceremony, choose the time of day,the location on the grounds, or cruising on Watauga Lake - perhaps even exchange rings under a full moon or at sunrise!

From the time you arrive atop the mountain, you will be surrounded by love, making the Inn the perfect place to elope. You will slow down. You will experience the magic of the mountains. You know this will be a very special moment in your lives.

When it's time for the bride to get ready, the Innkeeper is available to help if needed. Bring your own music, or let us choose a special song to be played as the bride descends the staircase and walks to the chosen location. Here the groom is waiting. Walking to his side, you repeat the words you have chosen, you exchange rings, and you are pronounced husband and wife.

"Pop the bubbly" and toast each other with the crystal flute you keep, feed each other a piece of wedding cake...or how about a "wedding cookie". No hassles. No jitters. "No Big Deal". Just a very special day in your lives.
