Matches begin at 11 am Eastern Standard Time
The game of Rugby originated at the Rugby School at Rugby England. It seemed appropriate that the game be played in the namesake village of Rugby, Tennessee. Inn Keepers Bill and Linda Brooks Jones organized the first Rugby at Rugby in 1991 with the University of Tennessee serving as the host team. This year the field will be located one mile east of Grey Gables Inn in Historic Rugby across from Oak Lodge on Laurel Dale Cemetery road.
Grey Gables fare includes lodging, evening meal and country breakfast. Come and enjoy the rough and tumble game of Rugby to be played by teams from the University of Tennessee... Lee University…Western Kentucky University, Middle Tennessee State University.
Munch on hot dogs, bratwurst, barbecue, soda and homemade chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies at the game.
