 East Park Inn is an elegant 19th century urban bed and breakfast located in the historic Edgefield area of Nashville, Tennessee.

Miss Daisy's Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:
4 cups sugar
1 29 oz can Pumpkin
3 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
5 cups flour 		2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground cloves
2 cups chopped walnuts
2 cups chopped dates
    Steps:
  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Mix first 4 ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • Gently stir in dry ingredients just until moist.
  • Fold in nuts and dates until evenly distributed.
  • Pour batter into two greased and floured load pans.
  • Bake at 350° for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Serve with orange or honey butter or spreadable, whipped cream cheese.
