With over 5 acres of grounds there are areas of solitude and quite spaces to enjoy the river, as well as pastoral and woodland views. There is a stone foundation of an old bridge, flowers and native plants to enjoy. Al fresco dining is available on the large screened porch which overlooks the Caney Fork River. Our large deck with stacked stone fireplace beckons you to relax and enjoy the fantastic views. |

| A guest kitchen has a microwave, morning coffee, and refrigerator space for your drinks. Our large living room-dining room area has windows that offer a panoramic view of nature. Often we see deer or wild turkey in the early mornings when the fog on the river gives the appearance of milk flowing. A guest restroom is on the first floor beyond the curved oak stairs. |

Policies: Dreaming by the River is a smoke-free facility. However, smoking is allowed on the screened porch and deck. The Inn overlooks the Caney Fork with bluffs up to 40 feet. The river is quite deep here making the area inappropriate for small children. We cater to adults, but families with children over 15 are welcome. Please use the contact information to obtain information on weddings or special events. Please advise us of any special dietary requirements at time of booking. Check out is 11 a.m. Check in begins at 3 p.m., please call us if you will be later than 9 p.m., in order for us to accommodate your needs. Payment for the first nights lodging must be received at least 14 days prior to arrival. If reservation is made with less than 14 days to arrival, deposit must be received at time of reservation. Reservations must be canceled prior to 14 days of your arrival. Cancellations made with less than a 14-day notice will be charged for the first night of lodging plus applicable taxes. If we are able to rebook the room, these charges will be refunded less a $25 handling fee. |
