This 7,000+ square-foot lodge nestled within the serenity of the woods provides a haven for rest, rejuvenation, and renewal, plus a peaceful atmosphere for retreat meetings and overnight stays. We recommend reserving the entire lodge for a private retreat and considering additional team-building for your group on the challenge ropes courses. Deer Run Retreat staff coordinates with the group leader to customize your retreat to meet specific goals with maximum impact or to plan your retreat around a specific theme. You may also reserve exclusive use of the 89 acres of wooded retreat property and other retreat facilities. |

Each of our seven guest rooms has a private bath and is furnished with rustic, yet elegant, lodge décor. Individual room pricing is based on two persons per room, but there are various configurations and most rooms accommodate at least four persons. The room rate also includes breakfast. Deer Run's second-floor library and conference room can be arranged for an executive meeting or with classroom-type seating for a conference setting including Internet access, projector, and TV/DVD. Meals, snacks, and drinks are not included and must be scheduled separately. There is a 15 percent discount on overnight individual room rates when reserving day use of the conference facility. Outdoor adventures include approximately five miles of scenic, wooded hiking and mountain bike trails winding throughout the 89 acres of Deer Run Retreat. Trails are marked for beginner and advanced mountain bikers. The Scripture Trail is an easy 1.5 mile hike that has Scripture signs posted along the way for encouragement and reflection. Swimming, canoeing, zip line, and fishing are available at Spring Valley Lake, a 3-acre spring-fed lake. Activities at the lake are an additional cost and must be scheduled in advance. Volleyball and horseshoes are also available at no additional charge. Deer Run Retreat has various options available for groups including the Creekside Meeting and Dining Facility, Creekside Tent Camp, and several pavilions. We also provide low-challenge and high-challenge ropes courses for team building for your group. By providing the goals or emphasis for your retreat, the challenge course will be customized to help you fulfill these. Your group will establish new relationships and improve already existing ones.
