Introduction

Welcome to Cherokee Mountain Llama Bed & Breakfast, located within 5 miles of Johnson City and historic Jonesborough - Tennessee's oldest town. The B&B is situated on 10 private wooded and pastured acres offering mountain ridge and valley views from the rockers on the large front porch. Our modern home is situated below Cherokee Knob at about 2300 feet. Cherokee Knob is located in the Cherokee National Forest at about 3217 feet in elevation.

There are many nearby attractions, including the beautiful Nolichuckey River, well known for its white water rafting, and the famous Appalachian Trail.

Innkeepers
Charlie and Jennifer Helton Hann retired in 2001 from professional life in Nashville, TN. Charlie was an accomplished handyman and Jennifer was an attorney for more than 26 years. They returned to Jennifer's beloved East Tennessee to enjoy the cooler weather, misty mountains, hiking, kayaking, gardening and animals. They are avid hikers and water enthusiasts who belong to the Tennessee Trails Association and assist as local guides in Jonesborough. They share their 10 acres with 4 dogs, 8 llamas and 2 cats, of whom all live outside. They will be glad to assist with planning your local activities, including local reservations.
