Shelby Farms, the largest city park in the U.S., is approximately one mile away; with walking trails, fishing, horseback riding, sailing and more. Your hosts will be delighted to share their knowledge and recommendations on local area attractions and restaurants.

You will find The Bridgewater House has the original hardwood floors cut from five different trees on the property. There are enormous rooms, high ceilings, leaded glass windows and deep hand marbleized moldings. The living room has 12-foot bookcases flanking a 200-250 year old Adams mantel with an ornate three sectional mirror over it, reminiscent of a figure head on a ships bow. |
| The Bridgewater House is available for bed and breakfast offering 2 spacious rooms with private baths which are furnished with luxury linens and down comforters. The rooms overlook gently sloping grounds with stately oak trees. When weather permits, you can find guests playing croquet, walking, sitting under the grape arbor or on the patio. Guests relax in inclement weather in front of the fireplace where there are puzzles, games, books, magazines and a TV provided for those who prefer. |
