Back of house and guest parking
Our home (one of the oldest in Jonesborough) was built in 1832 in the Greek-Revival style.
A spacious veranda, furnished with antique wicker, offers you a relaxing atmosphere for leisurely reading, sipping afternoon tea or conversing with friends. Benches are provided in the gardens for your enjoyment. We have designed and used plants in our gardens that were typically used 200 years ago.
All meals are special events at Blair-Moore House, and we take great pride in using only the finest and freshest ingredients to create a memorable cuisine for you to enjoy. Prepared fresh each morning here in our kitchen, we serve an elegant, beautifully presented gourmet breakfast in our dining room (complete with a candle-lit chandelier), where you will find the table set with linens, china, crystal and silver.
Dining Room
Once you have experienced our multi-course breakfast, you may agree with our other guests that it was one of the best, if not the best, breakfasts that you have ever eaten.

Suite
We feature three guest rooms, one of which is a suite that is located on the ground level. Our suite and one other guest room can accommodate up to three adults. All rooms are individually furnished with your comfort and pleasure in mind. Each guest room has a private bathroom, a canopy bed, vintage linens, carefully chosen art and pieces of period Tennessee antiques. We also provide you with a variety of reading materials in each guest room.
All guest rooms offer private porches, adding the luxury of extra space. One room has a balcony overlooking Main Street and some of our gardens. Another room has a covered porch overlooking some of our other gardens. The suite has a private porch located at the entrance to a garden. The bathrooms are all ensuite (your private bathroom is connected to your bedroom). All bathrooms have antique clawfoot tubs (which have European-style showers) and pedestal lavatories. The suite also has a separate walk-in shower and the sitting room for the suite has a private ground level entrance. We have central heat and air conditioning.

Shopping and fine dining are easily within walking distance since we are located downtown and within a 1/2 block from where charming specialty shops and restaurants abound. Numerous greenhouses are also nearby. For those who love antiques, we have antiques shops in Jonesborough and many more in neighboring towns. Depending on the type of antiques you collect, we can make informed recommendations as to which shop(s) you should visit.
If you want to stay in a B&B where you will truly feel welcome and would like to experience a romantic getaway in an historic village setting, the Blair-Moore House is for you! While we pride ourselves in extending to you a gracious welcome, we also want you to have as much privacy as you desire.
We provide you with private off-street parking in a landscaped setting. Fresh flowers (in season) and complimentary beverages are provided. Other guest services such as Silver Service Catering or full afternoon tea is available upon request for small intimate groups.
Our home had been neglected for over 30 years before we purchased it, therefore, major restoration and renovation was required. Since we did 99% of the work ourselves (plumbing, plastering, masonry, roofing, guttering, painting, landscaping, tile floors, you name it...) we have been able to give our undivided attention to even the smallest detail. In addition to a complete restoration, lovely English-style gardens, a brick terrace, picket fences, stone walls, brick paths, Jack's woodworking shop and guest parking have been added.
Jack is a retired senior engineer who now enjoys repairing pre-Civil War furniture and the making of Chippendale-style looking glasses. His shop is located next to the house in the backyard.
Jack's Shop
Tami was formerly a bridal wear and millinery designer. Also, for a number of years she was involved in her family's catering and bakery business. She has received advanced training at the following culinary schools: CIA (Culinary Institute of America), LaVarenne and Johnson & Wales University. She now utilizes her skills in preparing both beautiful and delicious breakfasts for you.
Tami is also an avid gardener, and you will see the love of gardening both inside the home as well as in her gardens. All of the fresh herbs and flowers used in preparing and garnishing your meals are grown in her gardens.
