Introduction
Please call us for directions, internet directions are incorrect. Located 8 miles north of I90 between Exits #143 and #131.
Twenty minutes northeast of the awesome Badlands National Park, one of National Geographic Traveler's Drives of a Lifetime, experience the tranquil peace and quiet we need today - where past meets present on our historic cattle ranch.
The Triangle Ranch was named for its horse and cattle brand. Lyndy's great-grandfather traded a good team of driving horses and buggy for the original homestead in 1903.
Four generations later we are still blessed to live where the prairie meets the Bad River breaks northeast of the Badlands. Triangle Ranch is centrally located to the Badlands/Minute Man Missle Historic Site/National Grasslands, Black Hills/Mt. Rushmore/Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Pine Ridge Indian Reservation and our capitol city Pierre/Missouri River area. Click here for a complete list of regional area attractions:
Our area boasts prime mule deer, whitetail deer, pronghorn antelope, wild turkey and varmint hunting. Triangle Ranch offers a limited number of exclusive hunting packages. See our Prairie Hunting page for details!

Arriving at our ranch you will see rolling prairies,
grazing cattle and horses, lush river bottoms dotted with
ancient Cottonwood trees and rough river breaks to the East.
Around the last bend in our road stands the "Alhambra",
still surprising unsuspecting guests as it has since 1923.
"A Spanish Castle in the midst of the South Dakota plains?"
Your hosts, Kenny & Lyndy
Your hosts will welcome you on the stately front porch of our Sears, Roebuck and Co. Honorbilt home. Inside, the hospitality and decor will take you back to the early 1900's. The warm patina of the Art's & Crafts oak woodwork, the massive fireplace, the light gleaming from the french windows in its bays, the deep wine and ecru of its comfortable overstuffed furnishings are all reflected in Grandma Grace Williams' crystal chandeliers.

We recommend that B & B guests with horses consider an extended stay to experience riding the prairies of our ranch with one of your hosts. Or satisfy your souls by viewing the vast landscape of the Badlands and National Grasslands from the back of your horse. We recommend the local Badlands Trail Rides for our other guests wishing to have this experience. Call for dates on our "spring branding" and "fall roundup".
