2 cups Nabisco Bran and 2 cups boiling water. Mix and cool. 2 1/2 cups sugar and 1 cup oil. Cream together and add 4 eggs. Sift 5 cups flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and 5 teaspoons soda. Add alternately with 1 quart of buttermilk. Next add 4 cups Kellogg All Bran, then the cooled Nabisco. Bake at 400° for 20 minutes. (May be microwaved - 6 requires 2 minutes on high; turn and microwave another 1 minute 40 seconds). Can be thinned for pancakes. Keeps several weeks in a covered container in refrigerator. Served with scrambled eggs, fruit, juice, coffee, tea or milk.
