The Prairie House Manor Bed & Breakfast

A queen four poster bed and fireplace adorn this romantic Victorian room decorated with gifts from our Japanese friends and guests. A private bath with shower, large urn lamps and comfortable chairs for reading or watching HD Flatscreen Cable TV with VCR will help maximize relaxation for two. Enjoy the two person Jacuzzi spa and celebrate honeymoons, anniversaries or any special occasion. This room has a relaxing flare with candles and make it a special treat by ordering flowers from De Smet Flowers & Gifts or Black Tie Floral.

This is a popular room for those of us that don't like too many stairs. It has a big King bed and a fold down full size Murphy bed in a closet. Private front porch with a 2 person Jacuzzi spa. HD Flatscreen TV w/cable. Private entrance. We prefer adult use of the spa - parents are responsible if children are allowed to use the spa.

This is a great room for 2 or 5 persons. A big king bed for a couple or bring the kids. A full size murphy bed in the closet folds down for nighttime use and is hidden during the day. Plus a day bed to lounge on or use as additional room for sleeping. Large bath with tub and shower. Microwave, small fridge, HD Flatscreen TV w/cable.

A light-filled southwest room with plenty of Heart. A comfortable queen bed with thick mattress greets you for a great night's rest. Reading lamps over the bed for a novel night or HD Flatscreen TV w/cable for late night entertainment. A small fridge and microwave maybe used for treats or heat up a hot chocolate to lull you to sleep. Your day is off to a right start after you climb out of the deep tub with shower.

Named after a foreign exchange student from Sweden and a family named Medley from California. This is our family room and alot of homeschoolers stay with us. There are three full-size beds. We have had the greatest families visit us. Many are surprised we take children, but the Laura Ingalls Wilder books are so popular with children and they bring their parents to see us. Private bath with tub and shower, perfect for bathing your tiny tots. A small fridge and microwave for storing your treats. Reading lamps for a novel night or TV/VCR for late night entertainment.

This northwest room overlooks the backyard garden and is the room most booked for mother-daughters, father-sons, or friends that like sleeping alone in comfort. Twin day beds with comfortable box spring and mattresses are just the key to unlock a restful night. A very large master bath with tub and shower also contain a baker's rack with small fridge and microwave. Unwind with a cup of instant coffee or tea and pop some corn as you watch HD Flatscreen TV w/cable from your bed.

• Rates include a full breakfast. Homemade breakfast choices are: Waffles with a berry sauce, blueberry pancakes, French toast bakes and various omelletes with toast. Enjoy fresh fruit with your choice of Juice, milk, hot chocolate, hot tea or coffee.
