Horses Welcome

French Creek Ranch’s horse stabling is nearly as nice as our human accommodations. Trailer in your own horses, and French Creek Ranch can accommodate them too! Our horse stabling is nearly as nice as our human accommodations. The Ranch has large barn box stalls with outdoor corrals. Stabling is not included with Bed and Breakfast Rates.

Options Include:

  • Individual Box Stalls (8 available)
    • $25/night + tax per horse
  • Group Outdoor corrals (2 available)
    • $10/night + tax per horse
  • Individual Outside Corrals pens are built with steel coral panels
    • 1 horse per pen $15/night + tax
  • Riders are expected to bring all things necessary to care for their own horse. (ex. Buckets, feed, tools, etc.)
  • A water faucet is in close proximity to all stalls and corrals.
  • Each renter is responsible for cleaning their own pen(s) daily.
  • Trailer parking is available close to pens.
  • MONTHLY PASTURE BOARD available year round
    • $145/month plus feed and hay

No stallions, please. All horses or mules coming into wesern South Dakota need to have current coggins test, and a brand inspection. Certified hay is NOT required at the French Creek pens. A farrier can be arranged to repair any hoof problems. Our local veterinarian is also available for emergencies. A feed store is located in town.
