Faith, South Dakota is a small community in the northwestern part of the state. Called a prairie oasis by many, this town has a fantastic history as a former settlement. Be sure to book your room early at the town's wonderful B&Bs for the famous annual "Faith Stock Show and Rodeo," which happens the second weekend in August each year. After four days of livestock shows, parades, wild bronc rides, exhibits, and night life, you will be happy to return to your Faith inn to get some rest. In addition to the fantastic hunting that can be found in the area surrounding Faith, the town gains acclaim for the being the "T-Rex Capital of the World," a name gained by the discovery of the T-rex named SUE, found not far from town in 1990. Stop in at Linda's Drive-In for some good food and friendly service. This thriving town of 550 will show its hospitality to any guests, whether you are just passing through or staying at a Faith bed and breakfast.
