Introduction
A place where you can truly relax and enjoy the fresh air and wildlife, Emerald Pines Refuge Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful new log house, with contemporary and antique decor. Nestled on the top of a hill, the Inn is surrounded by 7 acres of pine trees. Emerald Pines Refuge Bed and Breakfast - Hill City, South Dakota

Look out on the breathtaking view of Harney Peak, the highest mountain between the Rocky Mountains and the Appalachians. Roam seven wooded acres. A Gas grill and picnic table are available for you to use. We are in the heart of the Black Hills within easy driving distance to many of the area's main attractions.

Guest Rooms:

Finch Haven: Bedroom in the loft with queen-sized bed, private bath (shower w/jetted tub), small private deck, sitting room that overlooks great-room and fireplace.

Knotty Pine: Unique canopy mirrored log bed. "Select Comfort" dual control queen-size mattress, private bath with lighted Onyx jacuzzi tub, enclosed shower, two sinks, private entrance and sitting area.

Both rooms have satellite TV (dish), a refrigerator, a "hot pot" for coffee, tea or
hot chocolate, plus snacks. Ice Bucket and ice are also provided.

Rates
  • We will be closed December, January and February.
  • $135/night plus tax for one night
  • $120/night plus tax for 2 night
  • $110/night plus tax for 3 or more nights.
  • Sturgis Motorcycle Rally rates $145/night plus tax
  • Nov. rates $95/night plus tax
  • Closed December, January and February
  • March & April rates $95/night plus tax.
  • June, July & August (2-night minimum stay).
  • 3-night stay over Memorial weekend, July 4th, and Labor day weekend.
  • Rates based on double occupancy.
  • Cancellation Policy: $10/day cancellation fee. Refund with a 14 day notice otherwise a gift certificate will be issued. Guests are responsible for all nights reserved regardless of actual arrival or departure dates.

A full breakfast is included with the room rate. Depending on the weather, you may enjoy breakfast
on the deck, in front of the fireplace, or in the dining room. Dietary considerations
should be discussed when making your reservations.
