Custer Mansion Bed & Breakfast

The Evergreen, perhaps the most stately in appearance, has a majestic four poster king-sized bed and daybed with trundle which can accommodate four guests, two antique dressers, private bath and a lacy slip innocently hanging from the large mirror, a garment similar to the one that Mrs. Tubbs may have worn in the early 1900s.

The Shenadoah is often referred to as the anniversary suite, complete with private bath and Jacuzzi, television, a queen-size bed, and a pretty view of the courtyard and gardens below. Peaceful colors set the mood for reminiscing and rekindling in this spacious room.

The Rose of Sharon is one of the two of the smaller rooms, it has a queen-sized antique walnut bed and a private bath, decorated in country rose, ivory and floral.

The Morning Dew is the other smaller room, it has a queen-sized bed and private bath, decorated in country rose, ivory and floral.

The Evening Star and Mexicali Rose are adjoining rooms, providing and ideal family suite. History reveals that these rooms were probably built to accommodate a nanny and the young children that she cared for in the household. A private bath with a Victorian flare lies adjacent to the family suite and features a antique, claw-foot bath tub. 4 person Family suite.

~Policies~

• Per night double occupancy, US dollars.
• Ask about our extended stay or group discounts.
• From time-to-time we run unpublished specials, so please call for details.
• Reservations are made with a 50% deposit. A confirmation will be sent upon receipt of the deposit.
• All cancellations made 10 days in advance of arrival will be refunded minus a 10% book keeping charge. If the cancellation occurs less than 10 days in advance of your scheduled arrival, a refund will be made if the room can be re-rented.
• No Refund for early departure.
• There is a minimum two-night stay during the busy tourist season (June 15 – August 15.) Check-in time is 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., please call if you’d like to request a late arrival.
• There is no smoking in the Mansion and no pets are permitted.
• Gift Certificates are available for that special occasion, weddings, holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and for any other special occasion.
