• We try to cater to a variety of guests' needs and put together a total package, especially for extended stays or for groups of two or more rooms.
• These rates include a full ranch breakfast served at 7:30 am each day.
• Estimated 2009 Rates:
  • One Room, One Queen Bed, 2 Guests: $95 per night
  • One Room, One King bed, 2 Guests: $105 per night
  • One Room, Two Queen Beds, 2 Guests: $115 per night
  • One Room, Two Queen Beds, family of 4: $130 per night
  • Suite: starts at $150 for 4 people. Each additional person, $10 each
  • We offer a discount for extended stays (3 or more nights).
  Check in time is from 3-9 pm, Mountain Time. Check out is 10:30 am. Please, no early check ins.
• Reservations are confirmed with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover card. No charge is made to the card when reservations are made.
• For the comfort of all our guests, Circle View Ranch is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted outside only. Guests smoking in the house will be charged an additional $500 cleaning fee.
• We regret we are unable to accommodate guest pets inside the B&B. We do have a dog and 2 cats that live outside. If you should you feel the need of canine companionship, Hank, our gentle (and world-famous) Border Collie, will be happy to be your surrogate pet as well as provide ranch tours for you.
• For the consideration of other guests, please refrain from cell phone use at breakfast and in the house common areas.
• Cancellations
  • Kindly give us 30 days notice of cancellation and no charge will be made to your credit card number on file.
  • Within 30 days of your arrival, you are responsible for the full amount of the reservation.
  • There is a $30 per room cancelation fee imposed on ALL cancelled reservations regardless of cancellation date.
  • No refunds given for early check outs. Please book only what you intend to stay.
  • No-shows are responsible for payment of the entire reservation.

You'll be the only person around for miles. Really! The cabin sits on the edge of the White River with an amazing view facing south where you can see the wildlife and the serene South Dakota Prairie. The Hamm family homesteaded on our ranch in the late 1880's. They left in the early part of the century due to the harsh life. Grandpa and Grandma Kruse (Phil's parents) lived here in the late 1940's with their three oldest boys until 1960. The cabin was in such poor shape that it was then used to house cattle and pigs during the cold winter months. Grandpa saw it as trash and wanted to tear it down before Philip begged that it be kept standing. Philip then took over the ranch and refinished it in the late 1990's. Family and friends loved staying here so we decided to let our guests share in the experience.

Buck up cowboy and give it a try! While you are in the South Dakota Badlands, experience the chance to sleep with the prairie stars shining and the coyotes singing. You'll be glad you did! The cabin does not include plumbing or electricity!

General Rates are as follows:

• 2 Guests: $75 per night
• 4 Guests: $85 per night
• August rates are expected to be $80 - $95
• If you choose, you are welcomed to join us for a full breakfast at the main guest house for $5 per person.
• 14 day cancellation policy. Cancellations made within 14 days of reservation are subject to a $50 fee.
